FootPilot is hosted by Render Services, Inc. When the service is accessed, technically necessary connection and server data may be processed, including IP address, time, requested resource and browser/device information. This processing is used to provide FootPilot securely and reliably. Render may also process data outside the European Economic Area.
FootPilot does not require a user account. Favourite teams, language, TV country, time zone and parts of the notification settings may be stored locally in the browser or app. These data are used only to provide the functions and preferences you selected and remain stored until you change them or delete the website/app data on your device.
Push notifications are activated only when you explicitly enable them and grant the relevant device or browser permission. For web/PWA push, FootPilot may store the technical push subscription including endpoint and encryption keys. In the Android app, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) by Google is used for push notifications; this includes processing a technical FCM registration token. A randomly generated device ID, your favourite teams, enabled reminder types and selected app language may additionally be stored on the FootPilot server. These data are used to send the match and top-match reminders you requested. If you disable both FootPilot reminder categories, the associated server-side push data is deleted. You may revoke notification permission at any time in your device or browser settings.
Match, competition and TV data are retrieved server-side through the Sportmonks API. FootPilot does not transmit personal data of end users to Sportmonks as part of these normal data requests.
The free Android version of FootPilot uses Google AdMob to display advertising. Premium users do not receive FootPilot banner ads. In connection with AdMob, Google may process technical information such as IP address, device and advertising information, technical identifiers, information about ad delivery and interactions with ads. The specific data processed depends, among other things, on device settings, region and your consent choices.
For users in regions where consent is required, FootPilot uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). It can be used to request and store choices relating to advertising and associated data processing. Where required, personalised advertising or related storage/access operations are used only after consent. Consent can be changed or withdrawn through the privacy options made available in the app when Google requires such an entry point for the device.
The optional FootPilot Premium subscription is processed in the Android app through Google Play Billing. Payment and subscription management are handled by Google Play. FootPilot does not receive complete payment or credit-card details. The app processes only the technical purchase and product information required to activate and verify Premium, such as product identifier, purchase status and purchase acknowledgement.
Local settings remain until changed or until website/app data is deleted on your device. Push data is retained while at least one FootPilot reminder is enabled and the technical registration remains valid. Associated server-side push data is deleted when both reminder categories are disabled or permanently invalid push endpoints or tokens are detected. Technical server data is kept only as long as necessary for operation, security and troubleshooting or as required by the technical logging of the relevant service provider.
Depending on the function used, Render Services, Inc. and Google services such as Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Play and Google AdMob/UMP may process technical or personal data. Processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, may be possible. FootPilot uses these services only for the functions described above.
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For privacy requests, contact info@footpilot.app.

FootPilot does not require a user account. However, technical data may be stored when certain features are used. This page explains how you can request deletion of those data.
Where present, server-side push data can in particular be deleted. This may include an FCM token or web-push subscription, a randomly generated device ID, favourite teams stored for notifications, enabled reminder types and the associated app language.
Settings stored only locally on your device or in your browser can be removed by clearing the app/site data or uninstalling the app.
If you disable both FootPilot reminder categories, the associated server-side push data is automatically deleted.
Email info@footpilot.app with the subject “FootPilot data deletion”. Please state whether you use FootPilot as an Android app or as Web/PWA and which data or feature your request concerns.
Because FootPilot has no user accounts, we may need to ask for limited technical information to identify the correct record. Please do not send passwords, credit-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Payment and subscription data managed exclusively by Google Play is not held in full by FootPilot and may need to be managed through the relevant Google account or Google Play. Records that must be retained for legal or security reasons may be kept for the required period.
Valid deletion requests are handled without undue delay and generally within 30 days once the relevant data can be sufficiently identified.
